Renovation project of a 1900’s ground floor 4 1/2 home on rue Waverly in the Mile End, Montreal. The aim of the renovation was to open up the main living and reconnect the interior with the backyard garden and update and expand the bathroom. The living space was reconfigured to make the kitchen the centre point between interior living dining and backyard living and dining. A central wall between the existing kitchen and living space was removed and the kitchen was relocated to the back. The kitchen features along stainless steel island to allow better flow and movement. The dining space was moved into the middle of the space which is large enough to accommodate large group dining. The living lounging occupies the bright front southwest street facing window.
